Tim Conrardy

I send my sincerest condolences to Tim's family and friends. He lives on through all his amazing programming, and through all of his beautiful music. Tim was a truly gifted and talented man, while also living as a true philanthropist. I go to his programmed sounds regularly. They are always very inspiring. Our loss, is Heaven's gain. Our Creator and Life Force has given Tim the best gift of all -- Eternal Life !!! I will remember Tim always, and feel his presence whenever I use his amazing sounds. He will still be living on, here on earth, as long as we use his sounds, and listen to his music. I am sure that Tim is making the best of his new life, just as he made so many of us smile, laugh, and relax here. Catch you later Tim ! With much love, respect, and admiration, Luke 777

I just knew about it by reading in an Atari-related website. It really makes me sad. I never met Tim in person, but he has been extremely helpful in my search for Atari software and tools, and always offered his knowledge. It comes with no surprise to me to read a lot of notes about his patience, dedication and talent.
Good bye, Tim. I'm sure you'll be missed in the music and in the Atari community, as well amongst you loved ones.

   HOW TO BEGIN....?

A SIMPLE CONDOLENCE NO!- SOME PEOPLE CONTRIBUTE SO VERY MUCH THAT CONDOLENCE IS ALMOST BUT A RITUAL. HIS PEOPLE, PARTNERS, AND FAMILY ARE WELL AWARE OF HIS ACHIEVEMENTS. THE ORIGINAL POINT OF CONDOLENCE IS TO LET ONES CLOSEST TO THE DEPARTED KNOW THE TRUE POSITIVE IMPACT ONE HAD MADE IN OTHERS' LIVES-OR IS STILL MAKING

  I MIGHT START WITH THE USUAL TRIBUTE OF INFLUENCES AND AUDIO ACHIEVEMENTS THAT MIGHT OVERALL HAVE ACTUALLY WELL OVER CHANGED THE AUDIO PRODUCTION WORLD OVER AS WE KNOW IT- & FOREVER----AND I SHOULD HOPE SO.

A TRUE MODERN PIONEER OF FAMILIAR REGIONS SHOWS A FRONTIER IS NEVER FINAL

  FIRST EXPERIENCES WERE OF TRUE SOLID STATE/ANALOGUE EQUIPMENT CONNECTED VIA MIDI CABLES, THEN CAME LEARNING TRUE DIGITALLY COMPUTED SYNTHESIS.  AS WE ALL KNOW HE...THEN TOOK IT TO NEW LEVEL AFTER LEVEL. SETTING THE BAR EVERY TIME.  TRULY IMPRESSIVE by any standard.

MY GOD, I AM THANKFUL, AND SIMPLY AMAZED AS I CRUISE(and am still finding more) THROUGH HIS PROCESSED SOUNDS-& DONATIONS OF CREATIVITY & TIME. We all should only hope to achieve A MINUTE PERCENTAGE of what his compiled efforts continue to. 
    There were no computer DAW's when most started-no VST,  just recorded talent-the big mixers & reel 2 reel-& SO ON...Then the 60'S-70'S as Pink Floyd did their part with advancing synthesizer technology soared through their contributions in sound-tech. This is What Tim did, he helped carry the torch for SOUND STUDIES.

I WAS JUST A THUG WHO BEGAN ON ACID ROCK,TO PUNK, TO RAP,CLASSIC ROCK, TO HEAVY METAL, AND SO FORTH, UNTIL I FOUND MY CALLING IN THE UNDERGROUND DANCE WORLD AS A PARTY, CLUB, DANCE MUSIC, AND RAVE PROMOTER/PRODUCER. THESE AREAS MIGHT PROBABLY HAVE NEVER INTERESTED HIM AS ENTERTAINMENT-YET NO
      MR. TIM-YET HE STILL HELPED-DESIGNED AND PROMOTED ALL OUR CREATIVITY. ONE AND ALL INFLUENCED.

,EVEN THOSE WHO NEVER WILL PLAY MUSIC HAVE, DO, AND WILL CONTINUE TO ENJOY LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCES IN AUDIENCES AS HIS SOUNDS ARE PRODUCED INTO EVERY VARIETY OF MUSIC-----not enough words.  He was with nature when he passed-truly inspiring and ironic life is-so Live,Laugh,Love

 MR. CONRARDY'S EDUCATIONAL E-MAILS, THREADS,AND BLOGS HAVE PUT MANY OF US PROPERLY THROUGH INTO THE 21ST CENTURY.

Tim will always be remembered as a legend for so sooooo many reasons. (so many projects) For the Chimera synths project alone he inspired a whole generation of us that it was indeed possible to make "those" sounds... to take things to the next level. "Well Tim figured it out so there must be a way!". The "TC" presets in the plugs too... what would we have done without them. Condolences to all family and friends.

My condolences to his family. Tim was a great man for sure and a very talented sound programmer. The sounds he programmed for the various synths over the years were pure magic, the name of the patches had always a reference to astronomy, he was my favourite sound programmer, I always been surprised by his skills... The music comunity will miss the "TC" fingerprint in front of the patch names!

I bought my first piece of production hardware just a month ago: an Atari ST, a computer I knew only by reputation. In my research I came across Tim's site. I sat, and read, and listened, and absorbed everything. Tim armed me with more knowledge and inspiration than I could have asked for. Little did I know that he had passed on already.

Tim, even after your journey had come to an end, you started me on mine. I'm sure I won't be the last. This is your legacy, and I'm honoured to be your student. Thank you for everything.

A true gem he was. I first got to know him through his presets for Crystal. And then learnt that he was one of the best sound designers around, truly.

This is an ir-repairable loss. Maybe peace be with you Tim, forever and beyond. My sincere condolences to the members of his family, for this hour is more difficult for them than words can express.

To say that I'm shocked is an understatement. I can barely see the screen through my tears. I'm so very sad to hear of Tim's passing. I'm at a loss for words.

So  TIMBO,  there I was, heading back to Texas after saying our goodbyes.  Flying somewhere over the nNevada desert and while sitting alone near the window I spied the most amazing clouds I have ever ever seen.  Puffy, billowy, creeping up and there in the middle was this cloud, AWESOME, STRANGE, UNIQUE..... Bursting out of the middle of miles and miles of clouds...it came out of nowhere, like a cosmic explosion,  and then at the top it went flat.....like a table....I took picture after picture from all angles......Honestly I half expected to see you flying by , arms outstretched, or you sitting crosslegged as you sat on the beach in santa Barbara...playing your wooden flute....laughing at me and my questions............... Tim I cryed for you that day.....now I smile when I think ofall the fun conversations we had...how you laughed at my 'knowledge of MIDI" yet stared astonished at my playing adn ease of creation.    TIMBO,  I am learning to fly alone......I miss you ...I love you.
